Your customers know where your referral program lives, and they know where to find it. Now what? Once they share, what’s going to keep them sharing?
Here are three more hot tips to keep your advocates engaged with and sharing through your referral program on mobile.
Keep it Personal
Whenever possible, make your referral program about the advocate. Pull in their picture, use personal share links, and send timely email reminders updating them on their referral activities.
Make it Easy
Your copy should be short and sweet. Keep the experience in-app, without redirection. And make the sharing flow clear and obvious: Big buttons, on-brand sharing channels, and a friendly confirmation message when the shares have been sent.
Keep it Fresh
Switch it up! Try out different incentives, test them out, and see what your customers really want. Rotate share messages, so that the message generated is different for every share across each channel.
