Extole kicked off Advertising Week with a bang at IAB MIXX and OMMA Global. Both events were packed with brands, agencies, publishers and technology providers all wanting to start the first couple days of Advertising Week off right. Extole’s CEO, Brad Klaus, presented to a packed room about Social Advocacy at OMMA Global.
IAB MIXX and OMMA Global took place on Oct. 1st and 2nd in bustling Times Square, making for an even more energetic crowd. The expo hall at IAB MIXX was bustling and the Extole Team had a number of great conversations all validating our advocacy approach to social marketing. Even the panels and presentations centered around how consumer behavior has changed and how marketers can and are benefiting from it. For example, Microsoft’s President of Online Services Division, Qi Lu, shared his perspective on the evolution of digital advertising and how the changes in consumer behavior are pushing towards more user-centric experiences.
At OMMA Global, similar conversations were had, as the evolution of social marketing was top of mind for all. Brad’s presentation on Tuesday afternoon, Unleash the Power of Your Advocates to Drive Real Marketing Results, discussed driving measurable results from social marketing and how new tools like Facebook’s Open Graph are changing the way we market. Brad shared a case study from an Extole social promotion that was Open Graph enabled and the results were astounding!
