Last week, Extole hosted its first-ever Social Advocacy Summit during Social Week in NYC. The half-day Summit took place in the heart of Chelsea and over 150 marketers gathered to learn more about the Next Generation of Social Marketing and what it means to their businesses. Our very own CEO, Brad Klaus, along with Brian Solis of Altimeter kicked off the Summit with their, “Social Advocacy and the Next Generation of Social Marketing” Keynote.
Followed by two panels, “Driving Measurable Results from Social Marketing,” and “The Convergence of Owned, Earned and Paid Media,” with speakers from Facebook, Citi, Altimeter, VivaKi, Optimal Inc., WOMMA, Conde Nast, Big Fuel, Seamless and Pottery Barn Kids, the Summit was filled with creative content, lively conversations and actionable information.
The Summit hashtag, #Advocacy2012, lit up the Twittersphere with social advocacy, Facebook’s Open Graph, converged media and the power of consumers resonating as the hottest topics. Over 500 tweets were generated around the Summit, and we gathered our Top 11 Tweets HERE.
